Buffalo Bills punter Matt Araiza releases a statement on the lawsuit filed against him
Tonight, the Buffalo Bills are shorthanded playing Matt Barkley as their starting punter because their punter Matt Araiza was mentioned in a lawsuit that made not only made him look horrible, it made the Bills organization look bad.
Well, Adam Schefter of ESPN just released a statement from the Bills punter Matt Araiza.
Araiza said the facts of the incident are not what they are portrayed in the lawsuit or in the press. I look forward to quickly setting the record straight.
As of right now the Bills are down to only one punter and that is Araiza. They could cut ties with him, and the fan base would not mind at this point.
The Bills are aware of the lawsuit, and we will see what happens with the case. This could get ugly.
