What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

What made me want to be a football player was my older brother squeak he first got me on my first team. When I was like 7 years old and I just never looked back.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

What I bring to the field is aggression and not only that I bring the fun back into the game after every big play.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

If I could hang out with any player it’ll have to be Lawrence Taylor the reason why I say Lawrence Taylor is because he is the greatest edge rusher of all time and I’ll like to just pick his brain a little.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

The family member that inspires me the most is probably my little nephew Mar-Mar just because of how much I see myself in him and for me to do anything possible to just make his life better and easier.

What is a moment that improved you as a football player?

I don’t have any one moment that I would say i directly improved I just feel that everyday I’m improving as a player no matter if I’m in the house just working on my flexibility I’m just always getting 1% better.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

My favorite defensive scheme would have to be the 4-2-5 the reason why I say that is because I feel that if the defensive line gets everything handled up front it opens up doors for everything else creating plays all around the field.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I kind of handle them both the same way and the way I was taught to handle them which is to control what you can control and don’t let nothing keep you down no matter if you had a bad play always shake back that’ll be what everyone remembers anyway.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a witty physical player that really understands and has a broad knowledge of the game. Also they’ll get a player that plays every play with a chip on his shoulder like it’s his last play ever on the field.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to going out every Saturday with my boys making plays all the way to December and showing everybody what we are really about.
