What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I’ve just played it all my life and my dad played in the NFL and playing it brought me closer to the game.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Scoring touchdowns, being around my teammates and accomplishing things together as a team is the the best part about football.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom and dad, my dad he’s been the overseer, helper, and role model for me to become a man. And my mom is just so caring and she brings alot of good out of me.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring the best energy and be a leader and make sure the team is doing the job right is what I bring to the table. I’m that funny guy always energized that brings people up, I work hard at what I do but I also enjoy what I do.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Deion Sanders, I’ve met him before once but I would like to hang out with him for a day and even though he’s a defensive back and I’m a wide receiver he could teach me how to beat defensive backs and hanging out with him for a day would be great. I think his mentality and confidence gives him that “IT” factor and I think I have that as well.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Hard work, determination, consistency, give it your all, the will to learn, the will to get better and getting in the zone and things of that nature. Having all of that gives you the best team.

What should we know about James Letcher Jr the person?

He’s a great guy, likeable, energetic, caring and funny, always looking to improve and loves to play football if you know football then we could get along. He’ll always have that chip on his shoulder and with his size, he is always willing to prove people wrong.

What is your favorite route and why?

An over or a post, I like to be able to show my speed and make big catches downfield.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I just take them head on. Play the cards I’m dealt with and every challenge has a lesson that can be learned.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They will get whatever they need. I can do anything I played running back in high school and then switched to wide receiver, I think I am a weapon they can use. I’m very versatile in any offense I am put in.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I’m looking forward to playing again, going to war with my teammates, getting into the playoffs again and competing for a national title.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

Kevin Neal Jr, he is one of our safeties and he doesn’t play as much as he wants and I feel like he is the most underrated player I’ve played with. He has good technique in what he does and always wants to learn more about the game. I think he plays a huge role in our defense and without him we wouldn’t be as good as we are.
