Breaking: NFL files an appeal in the Deshaun Watson suspension | Want him suspended an entire year
The NFL wants Browns QB Deshaun Watson’s suspension longer, and they have filed an appeal to ensure that happens.
Roger Goodell will determine who will hear the appeal, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The quarterback was handed a six-game ban from disciplinary officer Sue. L Robinson after hearing testimony regarding his off-the-field troubles, headlined by 24 civil lawsuits that were filed by women accusing him of sexual assault. The suspension could be extended further if the NFL wins their appeal, Watson will at the very least miss the start of the year.
According to Aaron Wilson, the NFL wants him suspended for the entire year.
