Hello, Justin Berendzen (@jrberendzen on Twitter) with an agent spotlight interview where I put a light on an agent and we get to know them better. Christian Nash is an agent for Elite Athlete Management in Chandler, Arizona and here is his spotlight interview to get to know him better follow him on Twitter.

So we start our journey to get to know Christian Nash with knowing why he wants to help football players and he said “I want to help football players because there’s so much purpose in that. We can get so caught up in this new generation with instant gratification and a primary focus on acquiring things. However when you acquire those things you get the realization of what’s next and what really makes me happy is changing others’ lives. My career was cut short for whatever reason God chose to do so and I want to transition my passion, hunger, and competitive nature as a player to maximize others’ playing potential for as long as possible while assisting in providing a high quality of life for my potential clients in the future!”

Christian is really going to care about his players and as an agent that means a lot then I asked him how he plans on handling adversity as an agent because no matter what you do you always have some kind of adversity and he said “How I plan on handling adversity as an agent is the exact same way I’ve always have. Whether that’s as a player having your dream cut short, a child who went from home to home his entire life, the list goes on.

Honestly all I can attribute my ability to face adversity to my faith. Despite trials and tribulations that I’ve gone through, my Lord and savior has remained my confidant. As well as learning from those adverse situations and understanding that adversity comes with life, and the men who handle it best are regarded in conversation as some of the best.”

Then obvious to be a successful agent you have to have a plan and goals with that plan so I asked him what his goals as an agent are and why and he said “I have a long list of goals as an agent in the future. However, primarily my focus is to represent my mentor and boss’s company and brand the best way that I can, Zeke Sandhu. He’s believed in me and blessed me with an amazing opportunity here at Elite Athlete Management so I plan on acquiring top talent across the country and maximizing Elite Athlete Management’s brand country wide. I have amazing agents I get to learn from in Zeke Sandhu, Gino Littles, and more. So I want to thank those guys back with my body of work and ability to compete at a high level in this industry!”

And the last thing everyone needs to believe they can be successful in anything and I asked Christian why he thinks he can be a good agent and he responded ” Why I think that I will be a good agent is because my intentions are pure, my connections to the game, and my ability to evaluate talent. My grandfather was an NFL Player for the Cleveland Browns and then he went on to Coach for Junipero Serra HS in Gardena, CA. As many know that program is a hot bed for top talent, he had a reputation for getting HS talent in LA to the Division 1 level.

That reputation landed him a job at San Jose St. as a RB Coach/Recruiter. He landed highly recruited talent to San Jose St. and was Uber successful at his job. My entire family is a football family and identifying talent is what we do. I understand what NFL Scouts are looking for like, length in a CB with elite ability to move laterally, attack the football at its highest point, long wingspan, great eye discipline, large hands to create turnovers etc. So with my background and Football IQ I think that I can be pretty successful in this field of work!”

And with that I believe that Christian Nash can be a successful and a good agent in the future with Elite Athlete Management and any player considering signing with him would be getting someone on there side.
