Jason Peters

Although you might be surprised, there is a reason why Peters found his place on this list. With his fantastic performance, he is a candidate to become a part of the hall of fame. Jason became part of the Philadelphia Eagles back in 2009. It seems that they made an intelligent decision acquiring this powerful player. He is a brand name within the franchise and has been with them for 12 years. Jason has played among 148 stars, which is pretty impressive. 

Tommy McDonald

Even though many recent players deserve to be called the greatest, we shouldn’t overlook the old-school ones. Back in the 50s, Tommy played for the Philadelphia Eagles and was known as a flanker. Just as he started as a rookie, he won five Pro Bowls after that year. Under his leadership, the team has won TDs and set a record with 1,144 yards. 

Even though Tommy left Philadelphia Eagles in 1964, he left terrific results. His career with the team got him into the hall of fame after playing with the Philadelphia Eagles, but he didn’t settle right away. Tommy played for four more seasons with other teams, but his career with the Philadelphia Eagles is a highlight.

Chuck Bednarik

With Chuck being a part of the Philadelphia Eagles for a decade, he covered the position of center and linebacker. The draft back in 1949 marked the start of a fruitful career for Chuck. He won two titles within 14 seasons and retired in 1962. Many Philadelphia Eagles fans remember the collision between Chuck and Gifford in 1960. The fierce clash ended Gifford’s career in a great match against New York.

Just before he faced the Patriots in the Super Bowl, Brain was awarded a hall of fame award. Excited by this event, the team did their best to win the game. With his first Pro Bowl in 1999, and took part four times. From 2001 to 2006, Brian participated in wins for the NFL East. In 2009, everyone was upset after hearing that Brian the legend would walk away from the team. 

Steve Van Buren

Van Buren is famous for the game back on December 19, 1948. Even though there was heavy snow in his area, he managed to arrive by trolley and walk. Later during the game, he got a touchdown. He was a part of the Philadelphia Eagles for eight seasons. He also got three triple crowns, which is pretty impressive. Steve made it to the hall of fame and the all-40s team. However, his career came to a stop after an injury. Steve retired in 1953 but managed to set records and incredible stats in the history of the Philadelphia Eagles.
