Trade Rumors are heating up for 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo | Where will he end up?

97 FCS football players on NFL rosters? Former Eastern Illinois quarterback Jimmy G, is just one of 97 players from the FCS Division to make it to the NFL and stick on the roster!
Who is going to trade for Jimmy Garoppolo? There are rumors he will be dealt, but what team is going to pull the trigger on JG?

Jimmy Garoppolo being traded by the end of the month sounds like something you can bank on. Many people in league circles believe the 49ers will trade Jimmy G soon, and there are teams doing their due diligence.

One team that was rumored to have interest was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that was quickly denied over the weekend. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reached out to Garoppolo’s agent, Don Yee, regarding talk the Bucs had enquired about the possibility of acquiring the San Francisco 49ers quarterback to once again serve as the heir apparent to Tom Brady, as he did for the New England Patriots.

Yee rejected the speculation, telling Pelissero: “He’s progressing well and on schedule [in his recovery from shoulder surgery]. We’re optimistic about the upcoming season. Over the weekend, a report came out that I had spoken to a media member about his future, but the report was false.”

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, is claiming the Seahawks have been doing their homework on the gunslinger, but will the Niners trade him in their conference? The Niners may not have many options.

“Internally, they have discussed the possibility of Garoppolo playing for them. They’ve done their film work to see how he would fit,” Fowler said of the Seahawks.

I mean could Jimmy G end up being a back-up this year? Could a team like the Giants make a trade for him and have him there in case Daniel Jones does not progress? What about the Texans? Could they make a push with former Patriots GM in charge of the Texans?

There are some options, but the Niners will not likely get a huge return for the star QB.
