Over the weekend, a star football player was shot and killed in Dallas, Texas. Marquis Goynes recently won both offensive and defensive MVP in his football league. He was a star athlete with a bright future according to people close to him.

Dallas police said they responded to a call about a child shot around 3 p.m. in the 3500 block of Munger Avenue, near the intersection of North Hall Street and U.S. 75, inside the Roseland Townhomes complex

The young 11 year old boy was shot and killed and police believe the shooting was accidental. Police said they identified a teenager involved in the shooting and are currently looking for that suspect.

Please keep the young boy in your prayers. This is such a tragic incident. I hate reading about young kids getting killed, even it was accidental. It should not be happening.
