What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2023 NFL Draft

I can play multiple positions on the Defensive Line from a 0-5 and can play comfortably standing up as a 3-4 outside linebacker if needed. My overall versatility is what helps my game as a player.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

Probably around 7-8 but never started playing until middle school.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

Football is my passion and is something I want to use as a tool to get me as far as I can in life.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would want to help provide assistance to the people in my home country of South Sudan.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

There is always somebody better at anything you do, so keep working.

Who was your childhood hero?

Anderson Silva, at one point he was almost unbeatable and watching someone perform like he did in his art was very inspiring to me as a young kid.

What teammate impresses you the most and why?

Dakota Larson. He’s mastered his routine and has put up numbers in our league because he’s consistent in everything he does.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

People who stand too close while talking to you.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome

Not being able to qualify to play D1 was hard but, my time in junior college helped me reflect and has made me grateful that I can still play and that Northern State University wanted me to come join them.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

The support of the community is big in Aberdeen. It’s special to see a small community back their program and support the school.

What is your favorite snack food?

Pineapple

What is the best part of football?

Being able to play in a sold out stadium and making a momentum changing play.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

All I want to do is win and uplift my teammates.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I don’t think I truly compare to one player but I try to make my game a blend of Chandler Jones and Demarcus Lawrence’s play style

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  1. Muhammad Ali – He’s one of the people that made me passionate about sports.
  2. Chadwick Boseman- He was my favorite actor and he played many powerful roles.
  3. Kendrick Lamar- Kendrick is my favorite rapper and I’d love to hear about his music from him.
