What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2023 NFL Draft

  • I’m a very strong linebacker, I love to hit. I’m very good at diagnosing the run and coming downhill. I have the ability to take on blocks with a purpose. I’m naturally aggressive in coverage against crossing routes and I have good sideline-to-sideline game speed. My film proves all of these claims.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

  • Four years old

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

  • I’m a football junkie, I’m always looking for anyways and tips to get better. I love to workout on the field & weight room. I’m one of those guys that will stay late nights picking at your brain and watching film to learn more. I would call myself a student of the game.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

  • Education, although education has improved a lot, there are reports stating that around 130 million women across the world lack proper access to schooling.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

  • Never Get To High On Your Highs, & Never Get To Low On Your Lows. Stay Level Headed & Always “KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING.”

Who was your childhood hero?

  • My mom, I watched her endure & overcome so much, she is my WHY!!!

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

  • Man, it’s so many guys I could name honestly. But one guy that I feel is going to make a seriously big comeback is Kayleb Pierce, he’s a very talented, smart & young linebacker with a seriously bright future.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

  • Rushing to get somewhere, I love to be one of if not the first one in attendance.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

  • Overcoming being told that I wasn’t good enough & being told that I wasn’t going to amount to anything at a young age by a teacher & coach. I sometimes play it over and over in my head as motivation to continue pushing through anything life throws at me.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

  • Allen University is a unique place in itself because everyone knows everyone. The teachers are all great, they’re willing to help you accomplish all of your goals.

What is your favorite snack food?

  • I’m not a big snack guy, but I would have to say Life Savers gummies or Welch gummies

What is the best part of football?

  • I would say, the goosebumps right before the game, the fans roaring, music or band playing, and the team chants right before you run out of the tunnel. It takes you to a place like no other.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

  • I feel that I’m a top prospect because I am a leader not just through speech but through my actions. I have a sponge-like mentality when it comes to learning. I’m eager to learn more. I love all phases of football. I’m a guy that’s willing to play anywhere on defense, offense, or special teams, anywhere the team needs me I’m ready & willing.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

  • Denzel Perryman, we are the same build and have similar combined numbers. He’s 5’10-5’11, 230-235 lbs. such as I am. He plays fast and loves to hit.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

  • LeBron James, Jay Z & Ray Lewis, all display the true definition of what
  • hard work & dedication can take and get you in life. All 3 are considered the best in their field of work and I know I could benefit a lot from just one conversation with those 3 legends.
