Deshaun Watson has reached a settlement with all but four of the women suing him
According to Jake Trotter of ESPN, all but four civil lawsuits against Deshaun Watson have been settled.
Tony Buzbee the attorney for the ladies in the case announced he settled all but four of the cases. Ashely Solis still has not settled her case. According to Buzbee, all the cases will likely be dismissed as well. The terms of the money agreed upon has not been disclosed.
Watson had more than enough money to settle the cases as he signed a fully guaranteed contract after being traded to the Browns.
Buzbee just said last week two more cases would be opened against Watson, but who knows at this point. For him to come on record, we don’t know if they settled already as well. At this point, we have no clue how many cases have been settled. That is a problem.
Update: Albert Breer says 20 of 24 of the cases have been resolved. The initial plaintiff Ashley Solis is the one who started it all. Her case is still ongoing.
