Spencer Rattler finds himself breaking down film of the Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams
Can Spencer Rattler become the top quarterback in the draft again? He was penciled in as the top quarterback last year before struggling a bit at Oklahoma. The young gunslinger is going to get a fresh start and he has some new toys in South Carolina to really shine.
He was recently interviewed by 247 sports, Brandon Marcello and Spencer told Brandon that he has been watching a lot of film of the Rams. He thinks the Gamecocks offense is built on many of the same principles as the Super Bowl Champs.
“It’s really like the same offense as the Rams, That’s a lot of the tape we watch. What they’re doing, we’re doing. You definitely have your shots down the field but it’s just a good offense. It’s a balanced offense. We do a lot of good things, so I’m excited to fully learn all of it. I’ve learned dang near all of it already, but we got a lot more install to go throughout the summer, so I’m just gonna soak it all in and prepare the best as I can.”
The Gamecocks have the same type of offense if you truly look at their team They have Josh Vann a star wide receiver, recent transfer Antwane Wells and Austin Stogner the big tight end also there. South Carolina has some solid offensive lineman and could be a team that shocks the SEC this year.
If Rattler can pick up the offense and get it rolling, the Gamecocks could be a tough team to beat in 2022.
