District attorney files motion to dismiss Jerry Jeudy domestic violence charges

Jerry Jeudy Broncos
Jerry Jeudy the Broncos star wide receiver is now able to focus on football again! The case is likely to be dismissed.

Jerry Jeudy was recently arrested for refusing to give his child’s car seat, medical records and a wallet to his child’s mother. The female accuser did not want him to be arrested. Now the district attorney is filing a motion to dismiss the charges against Jeudy.

Arapahoe County Sheriff Tyler Brown said Thursday that Jeudy was involved in an incident with the mother of his one-month-old daughter. The woman summoned police to keep the peace. Jeudy allegedly told police he had taken the items because the woman had one of his phones and refused to return it to him.

Brown added that the domestic violence charge against Jeudy was added because the woman was the mother of his child. Michael Spencer of CBS 4 says their was no physical contact between Jeudy and the female accuser.

A hearing in the case had previously been scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, but the hearing was vacated as part of the district attorney’s motion. A judge must still formally dismiss the charges, but that is expected after the district attorney’s decision.

It sounds like Jeudy will get out of this one with no real problem.
