Former Philadelphia High School star football player gunned down and killed
Emmanuel Sowell was a student-athlete on a full scholarship at Delaware Valley University, who was a very solid football player. He was shot five times this past weekend and killed.
Emmanuel Sowell was a former star football player at Northeast High School who played defensive end and tight end. Family and friends gathered to remember the star athlete at the Max Myers Playground.
Sowell had went to his Mother’s house and thirty minutes he was discovered killed. Officers found Sowell in a white car. Three of the shots were to his chest.
There is a huge problem in Philadelphia with people killing one another. Sowell joins at least 168 people who have been killed in the city so far this year.
We at NFL Draft Diamonds are super sad about this report. He had a bright future and was a talented dual sport athlete. He played both basketball and football. I wanted to share his highlights in his memories. Please continue to pray for the family of Sowell.
