What made you decide you you to be a football player?

My dad was a huge football fan rooting for the Indianapolis Colts. Being around that atmosphere started me to play football at the age of 5 and I fell in love with the game ever since.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

I’m a versatile receiver playing outside and inside. Also, doing my part on special teams as well. I’m a guy you can rely on to make game changing plays.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

During practice and game days I bring enthusiasm to the team. Getting my guys ready to get better any chance I get the opportunity.

If you could hang out with with football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would want to hang out with Larry Fitzgerald. I admire his skill set and the way he played. Hanging out with him will help me on and off the field.

What are you looking forward to in your upcoming season?

I look forward to winning conference with my brothers and also going further in the playoffs to create a new history in the books for my university.

What is your favorite route and why?

I enjoy running the post. There is different ways you can run it whether it’s cover 1,2, or 3. I consider myself a deep threat receiver so it works perfect for me.

What should we know about Brian Jenkins the person?

Brian Jenkins is a person who is someone that figures it all out. He is a type of person to work for what he wants and not letting it get handed to him. A level headed guy that comes in to make sure the work gets done with no procrastination.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

First, I talk to God. I grew up with my family members trusting and loving their lord and savior so when I talk to my granny about anything that goes on she tells me to give it to the Lord. After conversation with him I go and do what I do to clear my mind by working out and listening to music.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Having a good work ethic and to wanting to do the extra. By saying doing the extra I mean staying after practice for at least 20 minutes to work on something you got taught new or to correct mistakes so it won’t happen again.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team will get a player that is very coachable and enjoys being on the field. No matter where I will be placed at I will always have a positive energy and high spirits. Also, getting a leader wether it’s being vocal or to lead by example.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments would be in high school my senior year scoring a game winning touchdown in a playoff game. In college making the playoffs and scoring 3 touchdowns with over a 100 receiving yards.

Confident, courageous, patience, enthusiasm and loyalty
