What sets you apart from other defensive linemen?

I have quick first step, good physical hands, good IQ, I’m not scared of being physical and doing the dirty work and I love taking on double teams and not backing down but most of all I’m a team type guy I do everything to help my team succeed.

What is your typical training routine?

Get to the facility at 8:30am and stretch out and start my works from 9-11:15am Monday-Friday then come back around 4-5:30pm working on my craft.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moment from my career so far is walking on Eastern Michigan’s campus the reason why is because my dreams came to reality coming from NAIA to juco then D1 was a great moment for me.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

An infectious energy that my teammates,coaches,and peers generally feed off.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Proving that I belong in this league. And a player I would be proud of.

What should we know about Marqualin Scott the person?

Outgoing, people person, respectful, funny and a person you want to meet.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I put my trust and faith in GOD and he leads me in the right direction. On the field I use flush it and drive on known as FIDO.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Trust in yourself, and your training.

What would a team get in a player like you?

My final pitch to any team in any league would be that they are getting a hard nose, blue collar guy who is willing to work hard day in and day out willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed. Being coachable, learning and growing in all aspects of the game to help develop myself as a player is something I am looking forward to doing.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Damon Harrison and Vince Wilfork the reason why is they are both some of my favorite defensive tackles and they seem cool and have great wisdom and advice.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I grew up watching the game and fell in love with it and wanted to be apart of it.
