Contra Costa College football player shot by police after disarming a gunman at a Los Angeles Restaurant

K’aun Green is a hero, and he is lucky to be alive. The star football player for Contra Costa College was at a restaurant when a brawl broke out inside the place. Several young drunk men came into the restaurant and Green the talented football player grabbed the gun from one of the men. He was trying to get out of the restaurant when police arrived.

According to reports, the San Jose police department shouted commands to drop the gun to Green, not knowing the full story of what had happened, began shooting at Green for not complying.

Police believe the incident was related to another shooting that happened around the same time, just blocks away.

Green was rushed to the hospital but thankfully none of his bones were hit. He did get shot four times and was hit in his stomach, arm and knee. Thankfully no bones were shattered.

The 20-year old is hoping to make a speedy recovery and return to playing football. This is a pretty amazing story.
