What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

The day I decided I want to be a football player was when I was four years old. Me and my dad were watching a NFL game on Sunday, Michael Vick broke for a long touchdown and ever since that day I looked at my dad and I told him I want to play football like the guys on TV. That’s when my dream was born.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I’m someone who’s always ready to compete when I step on the football field. Someone who will bring that fire and passion whenever I’m out on the field. I’m someone who will bring the best out of his teammates as well.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

  • Scoring six touchdowns in a game (2021)
  • Scoring five touchdowns in a game (2019)
  • Recording 1,200 receiving yards
  • Finishing top 10 in receiving yards in the nation (2021)
  • Finishing number one in the nation in yards per game with 135.0 (2021)

  • Winning a conference championship in 2019
  • Being awarded all New England for D2/D3 wide receivers
  • 4 games with 200+ receiving yards

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

What sets me apart from other wide receivers is my ability to play bigger than my size. I’m someone who can line up in the slot as well as outside and be able to get open. My speed, quickness in and out of breaks, and my change of directions. And someone who is able to run all of the routes on the route tree consistently and effectively and someone who knows how to get open who can make the difficult catch. My catching ability and having a nice catch radius for someone for my size

What is your favorite route and why?

My favorite route is the slant because I get off the line fast and I’m able to get out of my break quick and making the catch and having the speed I have being able to score a touchdown after the catch without hesitation

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Hard worker, dedicated, tough both mentally and physically, dependable, and smart.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Discipline because football’s a tough sport to play and you gotta be able to handle the things that it comes with. All the meetings, practices, and the things outside the football field that occur you gotta be able to keep a strong head on your shoulders. Strong work ethic to keep working on your craft and football IQ to keep getting better.

What should we know about Errol Breaux Jr the person?

Errol Breaux Jr. as a person is all about God, family and positivity. I’m the type of person to make sure the people around me are always doing okay, someone who wants to give back to the community whenever I can. Trying to make a positive impact on as many people I can in my lifetime. Overall my faith and being a good person is what’s most important to me.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Odell Beckham Jr. because he’s been one of my favorite players since LSU. We’re both Louisiana boys and I feel like my play style is similar to his.

What would a team get in a player like you?

What a team would get out of me is someone who is electrifying and elusive. A fast quick player that’s a big play waiting to happen. Great route runner who knows how to get open that you can trust in big moments. Team player and a leader who does what he needs to help his team win. And someone who is ready to learn and is coachable.

What is your typical training routine?

Mornings I hit the gym and get a lift in. Afternoons I hit the field where I do speed drills, agility workouts, work on my route running and catching drills. Throughout the day, I’m making sure I’m maintaining my diet and staying in great shape.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to just have the opportunity to do what I love professionally. It’s been my dream my whole life and I’ve been doubted throughout it because of my size but I just wanna prove no matter your size or level of football you play as long as you stay dedicated and put the work in you can make it. Being an inspiration to others with a similar path to mine.
