Breaking: Carolina Panthers agree to terms with former Browns WR Rashard Higgins
Carolina Panthers make a move to land their next quarterback a valuable weapon. The Panthers have agreed to terms with former Browns wide receiver Rashard Higgins.
Hollywood Higgins is a fan favorite in Cleveland and has been super reliable for the Browns over the past several years.
The Cleveland Browns drafted Higgins in the fifth round with the 172nd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has 137 career receptions for 1890 yards and 12 touchdowns. It will be interesting to see what the Panthers do at quarterback, but at this point they have been the most aggressive team in free agency for a quarterback.
They have been in on every major quarterback and I doubt they will stop until they find their guy. The Panthers are likely going to draft a quarterback as well. I would not be shocked if Panthers have a new quarterback to throw to Higgins very soon.
Higgins will team up with DJ Moore, Robby Anderson, Brandon Zylstra, Terrace Marshall Jr. and Shi Smith. The Panthers will have a sneaky nice little group of players on their roster.
