NFL teams in need of a cornerback need to be calling Jeff Gladney who was acquitted of all charges yesterday in court

Jeff Gladney the former first round pick of the Minnesota Vikings was released the same day

Sometimes I do not understand the world. Jeff Gladney the former first round pick of the Minnesota Vikings was released the same day he was charged for reportedly assaulting a female.

The productive young cornerback of the Vikings was taken 31st overall by the Vikings and they dropped him quickly when they heard the news. They didn’t stand by him or keep him on the roster like the Texans are doing with Deshaun Watson, they cut him and now he has been acquitted of all charges.

Gladney was facing up to 10 years in prison if found guilty, but the standout cornerback is now available to sign with anyone. Why wouldn’t a team sign him as soon as possible?

Gladney played on year in the NFL and started 15 games racking up 81 tackles and a forced fumble. Gladney is only 25-years-old, and has amazing abilities. The NFL has to learn how to deal with punishments better. No one stood behind this player, and now he has to earn as spot to get back into the NFL. Should a team take a gamble on him?
