What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring alot of positivity to the football field and having fun and leadership energy. I like to raise everybody up around me I think it’s important everyone is there best.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

I think my go get it attitude. My speed also sets me apart. And I’m a competitor, I love competing at the highest level. I can also jump out of the gym.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Playing in high school, I played at Mount Doug in Victoria and we won a couple championships and were the best team in our province. The favorite part now is being able to reflect on my football career.

What is your favorite route and why?

I like running post and corners, because it allows me to use my speed over the top and over a defender and I love scoring touchdowns.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My dad grew up in Texas and football is pretty big where he was from and my mom was always playing flag football so I was always around football.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Confidence, accountability, respect, happy and determined.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Honestly when I run into a problem the first person I call is my mom and she has good advice for me. Next thing is just put my head down and grind and control the controllables.

What should we know about Gavin Cobb the person?

I’m a huge Formula One fan and I’m always just looking to have the most fun.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Hard work and dedication and keeping an even keel, level headed demeanor and not having your emotions get the best of you and have fun.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They are going to get alot of energy. I feel like I am an electric player and like to entertain.

What do you love about the game of football?

I love that it teaches you alot of life skills and it teaches you how to win and how to lose both on the football field and in life. It teaches you how to respect your body and respect other people as well. And it’s taught me how to live a healthy lifestyle. And be a part of a team.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Honestly I would say Tom Brady because I would love to see how he moves and pick his brain on how to win and stay on top of your game for as long as possible. And I also feel he would have some crazy stories about being in the locker room with Bill Belichick and winning Super Bowls.
