Miami DolphinsNFL Draft

If the Miami Dolphins were smart they would call in Colin Kaepernick

The Miami Dolphins improved their offensive line this year immensely. They just traded for one of the best wide receivers in the entire NFL by giving up five draft picks to land Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins signed Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert and they are moving in the right direction.

The Dolphins were competing last year with the Bills, but they are one player at one position away. That player is the quarterback. They do not have a pick until 102 in the 2022 NFL Draft. They could draft a quarterback then, but let’s face it they do not have many options. It is either Tua or bust….

OR IS IT…..

Colin Kaepernick has been working out from city to city throwing the ball and he looks great. I know he has not played football in years, but let’s face it he could compete with Tua and help Tua. I think he could beat Tua out, but what do I know. According to his trainer David Robinson five teams have reached out to Kap.

“A few teams have reached out to me and asked how his arm looked,” said Robinson, who declined to get into which specific teams have called. “They have reached out and asked about him.”

“He definitely has the ability to play on somebody’s roster — like, right now,” Robinson said. “Like, a couple of the guys that were in the session that were on NFL teams were saying that his arm is just as strong as guys’ that we got on our roster right now and can play.”

“So, yeah. He looked real good.”

The Dolphins have a pretty solid team, and if they want to get over the hump they need a quarterback. They are have fixed the offensive line and added some weapons, if they can add a veteran quarterback like Kaepernick they could be dangerous.

I will hang up and listen, but want to know what you think? I mean what do they have to lose at this point?
