Blake Anderson had three children, two sons and a daughter with his late wife Wendy who died in 2019 after being diagnosed with cancer. Anderson recently remarried and adopted his new wife’s two children.

Anderson and his late wife, Wendy, had two sons, Coleton and Cason, and a daughter, Callie. Wendy died following a three-year battle with cancer in 2019.

Unfortunately, one of coach Anderson’s son’s passed away, according to the University. We are still unsure which child passed or the cause of death. The University posted this statement.

“On behalf of Utah State University, the athletic department and the football program, our thoughts and prayers are with coach Blake Anderson and his family following the tragic death of his son,” athletic director John Hartwell said in a statement.

Anderson was at Arkansas State when his first wife passed away. Now after his first year at Utah State where he finished 11-3 and won the LA Bowl finishing in the top 25, he has to deal with the loss of his son.

Please keep Coach Anderson in your prayers.
