Is Trey Lance greener than people realize? Adam Schefter says 49ers may keep Jimmy Garoppolo
The San Francisco 49ers traded a boat load to land former North Dakota State quarterback Trey Lance and now there are reports that Lance is greener than people realize?
Adam Schefter of ESPN, was on Ari Meirov’s podcast when he said this:
Schefter is not Lance’s only critic, the greatest Niners QB of all time also questions his ability.
“I don’t think Trey’s ready to play yet, myself, and after talking to some of the players,” Montana told The Ringer
This was said by Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana before the Super Bowl that he is hearing that Lance isn’t ready to start, suggesting that the 49ers hold onto Garoppolo.
