What sets you apart from other defensive linemen?

I have played every single technique 0 through 5 in games. I have the ability to play run and pass.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Accountable, efficient, effort, hard working, and proud.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring that swag and grit to the field that teammates love to be apart of.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Be the best player and version of myself as I can be. I’m also looking forward to competing at the highest level.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

As of right now I’m combine training and getting ready for my pro day.

What should we know about Keonte Schad the person?

I am a very blessed and grateful person. I wouldn’t be anything without God. I love my family and friends. I also love the game of football, football will always be apart of my life.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My family is huge on playing sports and football is one of those sports. It’s just something we all do growing up.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Technique and effort will carry you a very long way. Adding athleticism and consistency to it will separate you from the rest.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I would say scoring touchdowns as a high school quarterback and playing against Wisconsin when I was at Minnesota. I can’t forget about beating Penn State in 2019.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Someone who understands the game, someone who is versatile, a high character guy with a motor. A guy who loves the game of football and has so much passion.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would kick it with Ray Lewis, the way he played the game is something that I idolize. It’ll be a blessing to be in his presence.

What do you love about the game of football?

Football is therapeutic and I love the process of getting better. In football, there’s something that you can always get better at.
