Was Adolf Hitler a Military Genius? Washington Commanders DL Jonathan Allen believes so | Now he is apologizing

Jonathan Allen was last in the media when his teammate Daron Payne threw a punch at him in the middle of the game. Well, there are a lot of people that would love to throw a punch at him right now.

The Pro Bowl defensive tackle for the NFL’s Washington Commanders, apologized Wednesday after praising Adolf Hitler earlier in the day in a since-deleted tweet.  

We interview a lot of people on NFL Draft Diamonds, and we always ask the question to name three people dead or alive that he would most want to invite to dinner.

Allen named Hitler, explaining: “He’s a military genius and I love military tactics but honestly I would want to pick his brain as to why he did what he did. I’m also assuming that the people I’ve chosen have to answer all my questions honestly.”

Allen’s other guests were singer Michael Jackson and his grandfather.

Allen deleted the tweets at about 2:45 p.m.

Allen then typed up an apology;

“Early I tweeted something that probably hurt people and I apologize about what I said. I didn’t express properly what I was trying to say and I realize it was dumb!”

Either way the Washington Commanders could use some good news today. First Deshazor Elliott was charged with involuntary manslaughter and now they have players saying they would like to dine with Hitler.
