Former standout high school football player Jadon Phillips loses his battle with brain cancer

Jadon Phillips fought cancer like a champion. After a 13th month battle with brain cancer he died this past week. Jadon was a football player at Delran High School and was a very solid player.

Jadon recently graduated high school, landed his license and was traveling to the beach and driving around. Back on Christmas Eve of 2020 his legs buckled and his family rushed him to the hospital. Doctors would end up finding that Jadon had blood on his brain. He would end up spending 34 days after an emergency surgery.

In March, he had a second surgery to have a blood clot removed that was determined to be cancer. He entered physical, occupational and speech therapy after the procedure but his decline began during this time.

Unfortunately, he lost his battle. Please keep the family in your prayers during this hard time.
