Since January there has been 57 bomb threats to HBCU colleges and other institutions | Do you think we have a problem?

Over the past month, I have been hearing a lot of hate in my area. I live in Central Florida, and the hate has been towards the Jewish community. Just a few weeks ago a group of men jumped a young kid and beat him up at an intersection because he had the Star of David on his vehicle.

We are in a country right now that is so separated. I was reading a report from the FBI and I was mind blown. I know we are a football website, but the world needs prayer. We currently have Russia invading Ukraine, we have China running jets over Taiwan, and now I read since January there have been 57 bomb threats to colleges and universities in the United States.

This is since January 1st, That is not even 60 days people. At least 57 institutions received bomb threats by phone, email, instant messages or online posts from Jan. 4 to Feb. 16, according to the FBI. Threats were made against HBCUs , houses of worship and other academic and faith-based institutions, according to the FBI.

While no explosive devices have been found, the FBI is reviewing electronic evidence and has interviewed hundreds of people. This is what they said in a statement,

“The FBI is continuing to aggressively investigate the ongoing nationwide bomb threats targeting Historically Black Colleges and Universities, houses of worship, and other faith-based and academic institutions,”

I am not sure if you remember 1999 well, but there was a man named Lawrence Lombardi who detonated two pipe bombs on the campus of FAMU. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison for his crime. What are we doing in this world?

Our children are going to schools where kids shoot the school up when they have problems. Our kids are not safe in college either. They go to college and damn near every day there is another bomb threat. We have war going on and we are separated horrible as a society. No one can hold a conversation anymore, we have to immediately fight and name call. We cannot have a valid conversation, we have to have a dispute. Then if we get our ass kicked we have to go get a gun and retaliate.

I don’t get it, we are crumbling, and when you tell people about Jesus they look at you like you are a freak. I had a lady tell me recently that I shouldn’t be telling her about God, because he is fake. Maybe that is how you feel, but God did something different for me in my life. He saved me from hell.

I tried to commit suicide back in the 2000’s, I had no will to live. I was in a wheelchair, I found out who my true friends were, they all left me. The people who actually cared about me, I treated like hell. I was worthless as a human, but GOD loved me. I would eventually find Jesus and accept him. I am not perfect, none of us are, but we need to stop the hate, and start praying for this country. This country is in shambles. I want to leave you with a simple bible verse, I hope it hits home.

Matthew 24: 3-14

³ As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” ⁴ And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. ⁵ For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. ⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ⁸ All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

⁹ “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. ¹⁰ And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. ¹¹ And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. ¹² And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. ¹³ But the one who endures to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Pray for one another, forgive your enemies, and clean your heart. If Nuclear Warfare begins, it will be way worse than any other situation we have ever witnessed. Pray for our country and our leaders. We need prayer right now
