Star High School Quarterback Deshaun Hill from Minnesota is dead after being shot at an heavily patrolled intersection

Deshaun Hill the star quarterback for North Community High School was shot and would later succumbed to his injuries at the age of 15

Deshaun Hill had a bright future. The North Community High School quarterback was an honor roll student who had many things going for him. Unfortunately, he was shot later succumbed to his injuries.

Hill was shot at an intersection of Penn Avenue North and Golden Valley Road. The crazy thing is this intersection is usually heavily patrolled. The intersection where Hill was shot is patrolled daily, from noon to 5 p.m., by street outreach team We Push for Peace. The day Hill was shot, though members of the group attended the funeral for Jahmari Rice, the teenager killed in a shooting the week before. The group We Push for Peace took the day off to attend his services according to CBS Minnesota.

There are surveillance cameras there so hopefully law enforcement will be able to catch the killer. It sounds like they have a very big problem in Minneapolis at this time. A school bus driver was shot in the head, on the same day as Hill just blocks away. The driver is expected to survive, and none of the children on the bus were hurt.

We at NFL Draft Diamonds would like to honor Deshaun by playing his Regular Season Highlights from this year. The young man had a bright future. Rest in Peace, and to the Hill family we are praying for you at NFL Draft Diamonds.
