What sets you apart from other running backs?

I’ve played and excelled in multiple offensive systems throughout college. I’m a versatile every down back and also capable of catching the ball at any position and I pick things up quickly.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Knowing you’re assignment and doing everything in your power to get it done. Things in your control like hydration,sleep, recovery, lifting weights and going to class. Combine all that you get the power of will to be successful on the field.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Right now going forward in my career my goal is to make it into an nfl camp. I didn’t have the senior season I wanted or the big all star game splash I would have liked however I know what I’m capable of and I feel once my foot is in the door I can make a 53 man roster.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I started playing when I was 8 I was a big athletic kid it was just fun to run around with my brother and I liked it but I didnt play running back until I was 12 and that’s when running the ball started to feel instinctual for me, like 2nd nature. Thats when I knew.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Cam Newton. That was actually around the same time period he’s been my favorite player since Auburn the swag and confidence both on and off the field was exactly what I wanted to be like. And he does alot for his community like I plan to.

What areas of your game are you looking to improve the most?

I want to continue to improve my overall physical strength to stay at peak performance for longer and maintain any given workload and also maintaining my top end speed.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

When I was 12 my muny league team won the championship my dad was the head coach. Sophomore year of high school, my brother was a senior, we won the first playoff game in school history. And my first touchdown at Lubbers stadium was a moment I’ll never forget.

What should we know about Chawntez Moss the person?

I have a big heart and if I care about something I care about it alot. I don’t like to half things or sugarcoat things. I graduated with a communications degree. I have ideas, I may like to share them from time to time, unfortunately this has hurt in some instances however I feel open conversation is the only way to truly resolve conflicts and understand each other. I love my family and I love football.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I read. I talk with my family. I focus on what makes me happy. When I struggle on the field I think about my family. When I struggle in life I think about football.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A dude who really loves football and loves working to get better. A playmaker. I loved being first to the ball on kickoff. I want to be the guy with the shot to block the punt because I know I can. I want the ball on 4th and 1 when it’s time. I’m versatile I can catch the ball and run routes. They’d be getting an X-factor.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

An alpha mentality that works hard and gets the job done no matter what.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Smart, fast, explosive, strong and tough.
