What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My little league coach, he showed me that being a football player is more than just playing a game. This game instills values in you as a person that aren’t tangible without going through all the practice, waking early in the mornings, all the weight sessions, and long hours with your teammates. So, the reason why I wanted to be and still want to be a football player is that it makes you a reliable more self-aware person, it makes you sacrifice for others that you care about and builds bonds that last a lifetime.

What should we know about Tim Wilson Jr the person?

I am a genuine person that would rather give than receive. I am the type of person that enjoys helping others. I enjoy learning new things no matter what it is. and lastly, I love to put myself in situations to improve and grow as a person.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Receiving a scholarship out of high school to play the game I love, scoring my first college touchdown and my first snap of college.

What sets you apart from other tight ends/wide receiver?

I am willing to do anything to make my team successful no matter if I’m getting the ball or not.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Devoted, hardworking, focused, reliable, mentally and physically tough.

If you could win 1 NFL player award which one and why?

Walter Payton award, because its more than just what you do on the field it’s what you can do help people off the field with your platform.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Hard work and dedication

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

Identify what the problem is and take the steps necessary for whatever challenge that it may be, because with hard work challenges are only temporary.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Randy Moss, because he was the best of the best. I could pick his brain to see what challenges he faced and get tips on what will make you a great football player in the national football league.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player that will rise to competition, hardworker, and reliable both on and off the field.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Positive fun but focused energy

What is your favorite route and why?

Any route that scores points for my team
