What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

My dad helped me make the decision on becoming a football player. I was introduced to the game early as 4 years old. I fell in love with it ever since.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

A player that I would hang out with for a day from the past would be Fred Taylor! Not only did he play for my hometown team, but also the knowledge he carries on and off the field along with the person he is makes a great player and mentor to surround yourself with.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

The type of energy that I bring to the field would be high energy and playing with an edge. My teammates feed off the energy I play with.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits which 5 traits are up there?

Ambitious , devoted, honest, dependable, and courage.

What sets you apart from other defensive backs?

My heart and skill set and film study is what sets me apart from other defensive backs.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

The keys to success on the football field are paying attention to detail, communication, and having fun.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I’ve been preparing for the draft with Imperial fitness located im Jacksonville FL.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges in life and on the football field by taking them head on with my best effort and head held high.

What are you favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moments from my football life would be from the Nola Bowl game my redshirt year even though I didn’t play, it was new and good experience as I got to be around my brothers and make memories.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get hard-working, good energy, unselfish, hard edge player, who can make a team better in many different aspects.

What areas of your game are you looking to improve the most?

The areas of my game that I am looking to improve the most are watching the film more and more to play looser at the corner position as well as working on other athletic abilities that I bring to other sides of the ball.

What should we know about Rachuan Mitchell the person?

Things you should know about me as a person is that I’m someone that you can count on in plenty of situations, I’m uplifted and always looking to improve no matter what it may be. I can be quiet and to myself at times but don’t take it in offense.
