What are your favorite moments from your football life?

One of my favorite moments in my life period was winning a state championship my senior year on the last play of the game. We came into that game ranked number 1 in the state, top 30 in the country. We were undefeated and had a lot of confidence. We hit some adversity and were down 31-13 in the middle of the third quarter. We went on to win the game 40-38 on a Hail Mary with no time left on the clock. That was one of the greatest feelings in the world.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring a good balance of aggression and calmness to the field. I play very physically yet I like to play with a certain level of calmness. I don’t like to get too emotional or worked up on the field because I feel it clouds judgment at times. Although sometimes it is necessary to get fired up to get your teammates head into the game.

What sets you apart from other offensive linemen?

The way my strength translates from the weight room to the field. A lot of people are strong in the weight room but get on the field and get thrown around. My strength translates great to my play. When I get my hands on people they go where I want them to go. In pass rush if I touch you it’s over.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

My whole life I have overcome challenge after challenge. I meet my challenges head-on and dig deep to find a way to overcome them. On and off the field I never back down from a challenge I just elevate.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to become a starter in the NFL that is my first step and the other goals will build off of that.

What should we know about Jordan Ighofose the person?

Off the field, I am very different from on the field. I enjoy reading books, comic books, watching anime and being around friends. I’m a very caring person and I make friends quickly. I also am very involved in my community and hope to use the money I make playing in the NFL to help my community on a grander scale.
