What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I think the three main things to become successful on the field is consistency, perseverance, and confidence.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Stefon Diggs. He’s a dawg on the field and be pushing off.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

As a kid I was always tall. Family always wanted me to play basketball. Everyone from my neighborhood would get together and play in my aunt’s big back yard until she got home from work and would kick us off because of her flowers. Had a love for it ever since.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My favorite moment had to be scoring my first college touchdown at Auburn. I was so excited I tossed the ball like 10 ft over the refs head. Overall I’m thankful for all the people I met through college football. Made a bunch of good memories.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

I’ve worked hard on route running to not just be a big deep threat guy. At 6’3″ over 210 lbs I can run any route and get open. Also versatile enough to get at TE and block.

What areas of your game are you looking to improve the most?

Want to continue to improve on reading coverages, adjusting routes at game speed, and want to be prolific in contested catches.

If you could win 1 NFL award which one and why?

It would be an honor to get the Walter Payton Man of the Year. I want to make an impact when I get to the big stage and give back to the neighborhood where I grew up that built my character through the trials I had to go through and also just give back to the community and give people opportunities and resources that they don’t have. I look up to people like Tyrann who does alot for his community and previous places he’s been at.

What should we know about Jimmie Stoudemire the person?

Wouldn’t be in this situation I am today without keeping my faith. Always going to keep God first and grind no matter the circumstances. Love to play video games and go to museums to see ancient art outside of football. Big family guy, love mine and most of my motivation comes from them.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

Like to bring positive energy on & off the field. No matter what happens in the game. Like to keep my teammates in it and confidence up.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They will be getting someone who knows how to battle through adversity and loves the process. Whatever happens just keep going.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I learned that in life theres always going to be things that come and challenge you in different ways. You have to control what you can control and even if its out of your hands pray and don’t give up. The storm does not last forever.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

Just stacking good days! I know when I get my opportunity I will be more than prepared to compete at a high level. No matter what round or how I am signed with a team I am going to excel.
