What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Well this is gonna sound like what most big men say but it’s true, growing up I was always a little bigger then everyone my cousin loved how big I was getting and wanted me to join football asap. They were in middle school and high school playing football and I always wanted to be like them. From the the age of 8 I tried many times to enter youth football programs but in New Jersey there was a weight limit. I went and played soccer for a little bit until I was able to play in high school.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Warren Sapp he likes the outdoors and fishing also he played football with great passion and you could tell he payed very close attention to the details when preparing for each game.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I very hyper, positive, passionate, I’m also detail orientated, I’m always trying to better myself and the people around me I’m not the most vocal but you will hear me.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Explosive, athlete, strong as hell, mobile and fluid.

What sets you apart from other defensive linemen?

My ability to split doubles and my good hip mobility allows me to work out of situations and win the rep, also my experience with many coaches allowed me to see the game in many different view points to learn and advance my game play.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

Since the end of the season I’ve been training and making sure I take care of my body and also hit goals and markers I need to hit to play at that level I’m certainly trying to get invited to a pro day and seems like things are working out soon.

If you could win 1 NFL player award which one and why?

Probably defensive player of the year.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

My best moments really came from seeing my brothers and making plays on the field, I love seeing my guys getting better at the game I love whether it’s hand placement or I love seeing improvement.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Discipline is key, in the mist of all the hard work and eating right and soreness you have to do everything the right way cause one slip and can be the end of a big opportunity, if you want to win your rep, you have win in life.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A coachable, productive player who’s goal is to just get better everyday, 1% better everyday, I’m very good at staying out of trouble off the field and keeping my head down and working.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I’m not perfect it took a lot of learning and humbling myself to ask questions and learn how to deal with certain situations. When something seemed difficult I would ask people I trusted to give me true answers so that I could make the best decisions I could. I analyze then attack the challenges.

What do you hope to achieve as a football player going forward?

That I stay strong mentally throughout this process keep the strong love I have for the game tackle and sacks come later but I have to love this to do this 100% of the time.
