What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Growing up I use to go to my older cousins football games on friday night and watch them play. So I always knew I wanted to play football when I became of age to start and I haven’t look back ever since.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

I think that you have to have good work ethic and good football IQ when you are on the field.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I would definitely say when I got my first college offer, scoring my first college touchdown, and when we beat a rival school and all the fans rushed the field, that’s something I always dreamed about being in.

What sets you apart from other wide receivers?

I’m a smart football player that’s unselfish and loves to be physical on the perimeter and loves to block. I have the ability to read coverages to get myself open and I thrive in 1 on 1 situations.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

For me I just try to keep a cool head and always think about the bigger picture. I always tell myself, everything happens for a reason. So if something doesn’t go my way, I know next time it will.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would want to hang with Stefon Diggs. He had become one of my favorite football players. I think he has become one of the best WRs in the game today, and to hang with him, I would definitely take the opportunity to learn some things from about the game of football, especially in the NFL today.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I’m working on getting my 40 time down, and work in the fundamentals of my game so I can be prepared for the next level.

What should we know about Darion Anderson the person?

I’m a very laid back person, I stay out of trouble. I love the game of football and want to play as long as I can. I’m a very hard worker when I have my mind set on something I want. I feel like I’m one of those guys that if I get a shot a the next level, I know I will be successful, because of how bad I want to succeed.

What do you love about the game of football?

I love the excitement the game brings. When I’m out on that field I forget about everything going on and just enjoy being out there on that field and playing in-front of fans. I feel like I can be myself out on that field and just enjoy what I’m doing because I love the game so much.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player that’s going to do whatever it takes to help the team win.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I feel like I bring a great level of energy every time I step on that field. I feel like I’m that guy you would want to be around every day.

What is your favorite route and why?

I like to run the dog route because there are so many creative ways to run that route which makes it hard to stop.
