What are your favorite moments from your football life?

Playing in Memorial Stadium at the University of Nebraska in front of 90 thousand people and just attending the University of Nebraska.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Knowing your assignment, technique, dominating the person in front of you every play and giving it 100 percent everyday.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I handle challenges in life by praying on it and giving it everything and on the football field I overcome challenges by practicing and out doing my opponents.

What sets you apart from other defensive linemen?

What sets me apart from other defensive linemen is my dominance at the point of attack. I eat up space and dominate double teams, I’m great at stopping the run, I play with great pad level and a wide base that helps me take on 4-6 hands.

If there was a billboard with 5 of your traits on it which 5 traits would be up there?

Family, knowledge, leader, tenacious and selfless.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I plan on leaning my body out by dropping my body fat comp just so I can be more comfortable and more mobile on my feet for my size.

What should we know about Damion Daniels the person?

That I’m a God fearing man, I’ve been doing what I do for a long time and I have no plans on stopping now. My family means a lot to me and they are my “why” and they are the reason why I am the way I am today.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was first introduced to the game at 4 years old, my love for the sport grew even more when I became good at it and ever since I knew this is something I wanted to do.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

I would say it would have to be Ndamukong Suh. My reason I chose him is because of not just his success and work ethic on the field but the same success and work ethic he has off the field as well. Spending a day with him and learning from him would be something I’d enjoy.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A relentless and selfless player who’s always looking to learn more about the game and a young leader who can help motivate the people around him to be better 100 percent.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring all the energy!! I’m the plug outlet cause I give off an infinity amount of energy and everyone can feed off of me.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Become the best player I can be, making impacts on the lives of other people, giving back to my community and have fun while I do it.
