I feel that I am a versatile lineman for instance I have experience as a defensive tackle and a hybrid defensive end, I can put on the weight for the interior and I can lose the weight relatively fast for the outside. I’ve dropped Into coverage and I can work both speed and power in the pass rush as well. And I am 6’5 270 that can move like some linebackers.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

The moment I stepped into the tunnel at TCU leading to the carter stadium on a saturday night was just a feeling indescribable. And at UIW against SFA the last play of the game and we had a blitz package on the field all three lineman chasing down the quarterback to win the game was moment to remember. I’m glad I was able to be apart of history at UIW.

What do you think are the keys to success on the football field?

Communication, relentless effort, alignment, and assignment are my keys to success.

What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

When I was growing my uncle Leshai Maston an ex NFL athlete himself came by my house one day told me to get my shoes and get in the car. I was around 7 years old and my uncle is the type of guy you don’t ask questions you just go and when I looked up I was at pop warner tryouts and ever since then I feel in love with the game.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day who and why?

Aaron Donald because he is a absolute beast and he has been on the top of his game for the past couple of years now proved himself to be maybe one of the beast defensive linemen to come through the NFL if not the best.

What type of energy do you bring onto the football field?

I bring that competition factor to the field who can get the most tackles or I’ll beat you to the QB
and I would say I am a facilitator.

What should we know about Brandon Bowen the person?

That I am a god centered man that is family oriented, that loves anime and wants to own a restaurant.

How are you planning to prepare for the draft?

I’m just going to get an agent then work out with an agency leaning towards California.

What do you love about the game of football?

The brotherhood that’s created striving to achieve the same goal.

What would a team get in a player like you?

A player that puts his head down and works everyday. That wants to make an impact always hungry.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I pray and meditate and find solutions that I can do to change the situation I am in and I am also not afraid to ask for some help.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to be able to help as many people as possible if thats through being an inspiration to kids that are less fortunate or using that pedestal to give back and be proactive.
