What makes you a top prospect at your position  in the 2022 NFL Draft?

I think my size and athleticism, along with my understanding of the game of football. I’ve been fortunate to have some really great coaches that helped me understand the game and how I can be productive as a player.

At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?

I started playing football at the age of 10.

What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?

NFL teams should know I always try to outwork the hardest worker which pushes me to get better.

If you could donate to one cause in the world, what would it be?

I would donate to help improve mental health, specifically in the African American community that lacks adequate resources. Poor mental health affects so many people worldwide and I’ve seen firsthand how it can affect someone.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

To always be present and never rush the process. We live in a world where people want things instantly so they rush the process and skip steps. The process is where you learn and develop skills and also create memories.

Who was your childhood hero?

My mother.. growing up she provided everything I needed and kept me focused.

Who is the most underrated teammate in your locker room at your school?

Brennan Fugh, he’s easily an All-American Caliber receiver who made plays all year long.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Negative pessimistic people. Those people who see the glass as half empty instead of half full.

Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?

The hardest moments in my life had to be balancing school, football, and work. There was a specific semester that I got not more than 5 hours of sleep a night. I was working close to full-time hours, playing spring ball, and going to school full time.

Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?

John Carroll is one of the few places I can say gave me a life-changing experience. The campus has a family atmosphere and the people there are authentic, loyal, hardworking, honest, productive, community-based, and family-oriented people. That experience is something I will keep with me for the rest of my life

What is your favorite snack food?

Red velvet cake and butter pecan ice cream

What is the best part of football?

The people who you get to play with and learn from and also the lessons the game teaches you about life.

If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?

I’m a versatile safety that will have the ability to play deep, in the box and come off the edge.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?

I always felt I played similar to Kenny Vaccaro; he isn’t currently on an NFL team. In his prime, he had a real aggressive feisty style of play that I liked.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would it be and why?

First, Nipsey Hussle. He was a businessman and a leader who empowered his family and community. Second, Barack Obama. The thing I liked most about Obama was his calm demeanor. He never seemed to get rattled under pressure. Lastly, Bob Marley. He was a master of his energy.
