Morningside University vs Grand View (IA) University
Gonna be a battle in Durham for the NAIA championship as the Mustangs are up against the Vikings. The Mustangs offense has a lot of firepower with senior running back Anthony Sims who has 1,492 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns and senior wide receiver Reid Jurgensmeier who has 1,393 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns and senior quarterback Joe Dolincheck who has 4,378 passing yards and 42 touchdowns and senior wide receiver Caleb Schweigart who holds 814 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns and sophomore wide receiver Zach Norton possesses 952 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. Defensively for the Vikings they have junior defensive back Jianni Angulo who has 38 tackles, 4.5 TFLs and 3 interceptions and junior defensive back Felix King who has 28 tackles, 4 interceptions and 3 PBUs also they have sophomore linebacker Rocky Schoenfelder who has 49 tackles, 13 TFLs and 6.5 sacks and junior defensive back Demareo Luckett who holds 18 tackles, 7 PBUs and 3 interceptions and senior defensive back David Tolentino who has 17 tackles, 8 PBUs and 4 interceptions. Grand View’s offense possesses sophomore running back Ali Scott who holds 1,009 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns,and junior wide receiver Gerald Sama who has 696 receiving yards and 8 touchdowns and junior running back Casey Hill has 644 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns. Defensively for Morningside they have senior linebacker Tyler Wingert who has 145 tackles,18.5 TFLs, 6.5 sacks and 4 PBUs and senior defensive lineman Weston Schultz who has 47 tackles, 15 TFLs and 7 sacks and sophomore linebacker Issac Pingel who possesses 62 tackles, 9 TFLs and 4 PBUs.
