Buffalo Bills should make a call to a familiar face with Cole Beasley out with COVID-19

John Brown
Buffalo Bills and GM Brandon Beane need to get this gadget for Josh Allen before Christmas. He could end up helping them beat the Patriots in Week 16.

Earlier this year, the Buffalo Bills decided not to re-sign John “Smoke” Brown after he had an amazing year with the Bills in 2020. This year has been rough for Brown. He signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on a one year contract and was later released. He then signed to the Broncos practice squad and he was released from them as well. He was recently in Florida with the Jaguars on their practice squad and was released just two weeks later. The Bills need to make the call.

John Brown is currently sitting at home and he was a staple in the Bills offense in 2019. He the best year of his career going over 1000 yards and scoring six touchdowns. With The Bills trying to make a push to the playoffs, I think the team should definitely be on the phone with the former Pittsburg State wide receiver and bring him back into the locker room.

The Bills will be without Cole Beasley for the next ten days after he tested positive for COVID-19. Beasley will likely miss the Week 16 game against the New England Patriots. The game has massive implications in the AFC East, as the Patriots sit a game above the Bills for the top spot in the standings.

If the Bills are able to bring in Brown he would likely already know the verbiage and is a veteran. He has a rapport with Josh Allen, and could be a great signing late in the season for the Bills. He is a very hard worker and a great person. I think Beane and Company need to get on the phone and bring Smoke home for the holidays.
