Odell Beckham Jr is expected to be released today, and he could end up going through the waiver wire. What does that mean? Who would have the first pick?
Well, this was the waiver wire order up until week 3, but after week three that changes in the NFL. The waiver wire priority changes in the season. After Week 3 of the regular season, waiver-wire priority matches the current NFL standings. So teams with the worst record will have the highest priority.
So what does that mean? That means the 0-8 Detroit Lions would have the first option at Odell Beckham Jr if they wanted him. Let’s look at the current NFL waiver wire order. The list changed a lot since last week.
