What makes you a top prospect at your position in the 2022 NFL Draft?
- I’m an Elusive power back who runs physical & downhill. I have great forward lean with decent balance. I also have great vision & strong hands. I’m a powerful and patient runner, decisive with an instant burst to break through the line onto the second level. I’m effective on screens, swings, and check-downs. Great size, every-down back who is more likely the hammer than the nail when finishing.
At what age were you first interested in the sport of football?
- I started playing football at the age of 9, in the 3rd grade.
What is one thing that NFL teams should know about you?
- I have heart. I am passionate about the game of football. I’m a student of the game when it comes to film study and game prep, I also have great leadership skills on and off the field.
Overcoming adversity is what defines character, what was the hardest moment in your life to overcome?
- Tearing my ACL back in 10th grade at a young age, and still managing to get a college scholarship. It has taught me hard work & dedication and has shown me that an injury or minor setback does not define who a person is.
Tell me something about your school and why it is so special to you?
- Augustana is a small private school that provides many opportunities for hard-working, ambitious individuals. The University is special to me because of the football program and what we stand for, faith, family, football.
What is the best part of football?
- The brotherhood aspect of the game and the ability to compete at a high level.
If you could sell yourself in one sentence what would you say?
- I am a self-motivated individual with a naturally competitive nature who refuses to be outworked.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be?
- I’d compare myself to Le’Veon Bell, Jeff Wilson, or D’Ernest Johnson. They all run with a good burst and can be a threat on inside and outside runs.
