California College Football player arrested for DUI after a crash claimed the life of a 20-year-old female

Hunter Nicely a 19-year-old football player at Carroll College has been arrested after he was involved in a car accident that claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman.

Hunter Nicely a 19-year-old football player at Carroll College has been arrested after he was involved in a car accident that claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman and injured another female early Friday morning in California.

Nicely was arrested on suspicion of felony vehicular homicide while under the influence and misdemeanor counts of DUI, negligent vehicular assault, underage possession of alcohol, reckless driving, a seat belt violation, and open container of alcohol in a vehicle, according to Helenair.com.

Nicely did try to perform life-saving measures on the victim, but it was not successful. According to reports, Officers and paramedics tended to the unresponsive female. Lifesaving efforts were unsuccessful.

Nicely was a freshman linebacker from Monrovia, California. In high school he was a team captain and a First Team All-Conference player.
