Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
I received my Bachelor’s in Communication/ Media Studies from the University of Connecticut. I will be receiving my Master’s in Business Administration from Elon University’s School of Business this December. In my time at UConn, I worked as an intern with our sports media department, participated in the school’s radio and broadcasting program, as well volunteering as a SAAC representative and a few other groups.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I believe my teammates would say my best quality is my ability to lead. I always look to be a guy that can create comradery within the locker room, while keeping everyone focused on the goal at hand.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
As a player, I am an athletic tight end with great hands who can compete and be physical in the run game. Playing quarterback and receiver in college has also made me more versatile as an athlete. Teams can also plug me into any special teams role and see production. I’ve played special teams my entire collegiate career.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
I played against Hassan Reddick my freshman year as a QB. There’s a reason he was a first round pick.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
Jackson Parham impresses me the most with his talent, route running and consistent hands.

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
Having two position changes in college is never easy. As an athlete I felt like I was starting over twice. I stayed down, worked hard and trusted the process. When opportunities came my way I proved I was ready and made the most of them.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I grew up playing everything as a child. If I could do it all over again I think I’d play baseball because they make an insane amount of money.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
Being named a captain at two different schools and graduating with an MBA debt free are two of my proudest moments and biggest achievements so far.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
Catching the game winning touchdown v. Davidson in my first game at Elon is definitely one of my most memorable plays.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
I was a big Delanie Walker fan when he was with the Titans. I think we have a similar build and play style. I’ve been a Cowboys fan since elementary school when they first got T.O..

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
Favorite all-time artist is Jay-Z but my current favorite is Gunna. I switch it up on gameday. I like to listen to a bunch of different stuff. Anything that gets me in a good mood.

What is your favorite comfort food?
I’m not picky so whatever my mom is making I’m eating.

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?
My favorite actor is definitely Denzel Washington. I’m also a big Spike Lee fan so I enjoy watching a lot of his films. He Got Game and Mo’ Better Blues are two of my favorites.

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
In my spare time, I like to relax and throw on a good movie, show, or YouTube podcast. I learned how to make soap a few years ago so I tap into that hobby from time to time as well.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
I play the game because I love it first and foremost. Growing up I played the game for myself, now I understand there’s much more to it. I play the game for my family and support system that’s been there from the beginning. At the end of the day, I want to be the best while I’m playing. That’s what motivates me.
