Texas High School football player David Palestrant killed in a car accident
Senior football player David Palestrant from Tivy High School in Texas died in a fatal car accident this week.
David Jones, head coach of the Tivy football team, confirmed Friday that senior David Palestrant was killed in the crash reported Thursday night on I-10 in the Kerrville area.
Palestrant was not expected to play this week due to a foot injury, but the players at Tivy High School are taking this loss very hard.
Palestrant was a very solid football player and a great friend. Police are saying another student was also injured in the car accdient.
The school was planning to have a pep rally on Friday, but that was cancelled after the young football standout died.
Please keep the Palestrant family and the students at Tivy High School in your prayers.
