Talk about your experience as a student. What is your major/minor? Did you participate in any other activities or campus organizations other than football?
Here at Bridgewater my major has been Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Other than football and working part time, I haven’t had the time to do much else.

What do your teammates say is your best quality?
I believe my teammates would say my competitiveness. I always play to win whether it’s in practice or in games.

What kind of role do you see yourself in on the team? What scheme and/or position suits your skill set?
Many people see me as a possession type receiver although I can also be a deep threat. I’ve been the go-to guy here at Bridgewater. The coaches trust me in crucial situations to make plays. As far as scheme, I feel like a spread offense suits me the most where the running game sets up the pass. I also take pride in being a good blocker. I have also been used on special teams as a punt returner.

Who is the best player you have ever played against in college?
Delaware Valley has a good DB in Jamir Prevard who was a good challenge. He has a good back pedal and a solid jam. His height and length separate him as a quality player.

Which one of your teammates impresses you the most?
The teammate that impressed me the most was Cole Cooksey because throughout time here at Bridgewater he has been the one that has motivated other players no matter how well or bad he is playing, which is why he was voted team captain

Describe a time in your life when you were able to overcome a struggle.
One of the toughest challenges that I had to face was back in 2019 where I broke my rib. That was when we were playing Ferrum College and I also sprained my ankle in that game. I remember after that game being sore and barely able to twist my torso.

We were having an awesome year and were undefeated at the time. I really wanted to keep playing because I knew we were headed to the Conference Championship and were going to the playoffs. Going to the athletic trainer, I told him that I would do whatever it takes to get back on the field. After sitting out a couple games, I was cleared by our team doctor just in time to play in the championship game against Randolph-Macon. That was a special game for me because I had caught a TD before the half which was the turning point in the game which helped us get the victory.

If you didn’t play football, what other sport would you play?
I would most likely be running track. I was a high jumper and ran hurdles in high school. I went to states and nationals for both.

What is something that you are most proud of? What would you say is your biggest achievement?
The thing I am most proud of is finishing college. I am going to be the first in my family to be able to graduate from college.

Describe one of the most memorable plays of your collegiate career.
My most memorable play in my college career was in 2019 against Randolph-Macon College for the ODAC Championship. The game was tied 7-7 in the second quarter and neither team had scored since the first quarter. We were on the 21 yard line, and my quarterback trusted me with the fade route. I jumped over the cornerback and grabbed the ball in the back of the endzone seemingly landing out of bounds. All I saw was the ref throwing up his hands to say it was a touchdown and the crowd cheered. We ended up winning the ODAC Championship 28-21.

Do you have a favorite athlete or professional team? Is there a player that you model your game after?
My favorite professional team is the Dallas Cowboys. My favorite athlete right now is CeeDee Lamb.

I would say that I model my game after Adam Theilen. When I look at the way he runs his routes and the way that he plays it immediately reminds me of myself.

Who is your favorite music artist? What gets you pumped before a game?
My favorite music artist is Chris Brown because I love the pop and rap vibe that he has in all of his songs. Before games, I usually listen to Joyner Lucas to get me pumped up.

What is your favorite comfort food?
Velvetta mac and cheese

Do you have a favorite movie, TV show or actor?
My favorite movie is the Avengers. My favorite TV Show is Big Bang Theory, and my favorite actor would be Keanu Reeves

What do you do in your spare time? Do you have any hobbies? Any secret talents?
In my spare time in the summer I am outside, I like to be on boats whether it’s working on them or just riding on the water in them. It is something that makes me happy.

Why do you play football? Who or what motivates you the most?
I play football because it’s always something that I was good at. I was always pushed in the direction of football. My dad played at the University of Cincinnati as a nose guard, and he always loved watching me play. My dad is definitely the one that motivates me the most and always wants me to be the best I can be.
