Saints do not want anything to do with Cam Newton after Jameis Winston’s injury
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, The New Orleans Saints are not interested in Cam Newton. This may sound a little strange, but the Saints held their own against the Buccaneers this week.
Jameis WInston went down with a bad knee injury that will keep him out the rest of the season, but the Saints were able to pull off a win against the Bucs and Tom Brady.
The Saints are expected to stick with Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian moving forward.
The only team so far to show any interest in Cam Newton was the Seahawks and they continue to start Geno Smith, which should alert you.
Sean Payton knows a lot more about Cam Newton than other quarterbacks in the NFL. I mean he played him for a decade straight twice a year. Maybe he knows too much about Cam…..
