FEDS executed a search warrant at the Washington Football Team’s facility; Trainer put on leave
Washington Football Team Ryan Vermillion an 18 year trainer with the team caused a storm today at the team facility.
According to JP Finlay of NBC Sports, Federal Law Enforcement officials conducted a raid at the Washington Football Team’s facilities last week. Head trainer Ryan Vermillion was placed on “administrative leave due to an ongoing investigation that is unrelated to the team.
Ryan Vermillion, the WFT’s director of sports medicine and head athletic trainer, is on leave, the team said in a brief statement Monday.
“Ryan Vermillion has been placed on administrative leave due to an ongoing criminal investigation that is unrelated to the team,” the team said.
I am not sure what is going on, but this does not sound good. The searches occurred Friday afternoon at the INOVA Sports Performance Center in Ashburn and at a home in Loudoun County.
