Patrick Mahomes has looked horrible this season. He is leading the NFL in interceptions, and he has really not looked like the player he has in the years past.
What has changed? Not much, but the Chiefs have suffered from some injuries. Well today, Mahomes was injured himself.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes left Sunday’s game against Tennessee early after suffering a hit to the head from Titans defender Jeffery Simmons’ knee. The injury looked rough, Mahomes was sacked from behind when Simmons accidentally kneed him to his head.
Mahomes looked lost after the injury. He had to be helped off the field, and he looked like he was concussed. Mahomes was cleared to return but did not go back into the game because the game was over at that point.
